Getting started
A typical lesson lasts around 1.5 hours. Depending on the topic and the student’s questions, a session may run slightly shorter or longer so we can reach a natural learning checkpoint.
Fees are collected monthly in advance during the first week of each month. There are no registration fees or deposits. Contact Mason for current rates and programme availability.
Students can choose small-group online tuition or personalised one-to-one coaching, conducted online or physically by arrangement.
How students learn
Yes. The overall sequence follows the MOE Physics curriculum, with some topics reordered when prerequisite knowledge makes that more effective. Lesson pacing can also adapt to the student’s school requirements.
Students first strengthen concepts chapter by chapter, complete targeted worksheets, then attempt topical assessments. Questions are carefully selected, including challenging prelim-style applications.
Yes. Differentiated worksheets and pacing are used. If a group student needs extra support for a topic, Mason may recommend a focused one-to-one session before the student rejoins the group.
Yes. A one-to-one catch-up lesson can cover missed foundational chapters efficiently. Students can also use selected lesson videos and learning resources for reinforcement.
Changes and holidays
One free rescheduling request is generally allowed each month with reasonable notice. Further changes are handled case by case to protect the learning continuity of the student and group.
Affected families will be informed as early as possible. A replacement lesson or prorated adjustment will be arranged where appropriate.
Lessons generally continue during the June holidays. December availability is limited, although bridging programmes may run near the end of the month. Public-holiday lessons are considered when exams make them important.
Progress and expectations
Strong improvement is a shared effort. Mason provides clear teaching, focused resources and feedback; the student must attend consistently, practise thoughtfully and act on guidance. No responsible educator can promise a grade without that partnership.
Yes. Lesson updates help parents and students understand what was covered, what is improving and which areas need attention before the next assessment.
Yes. Students can reach out with questions during the week. Mason encourages them to clarify doubts early instead of allowing misconceptions to grow.
